The IMMUNS 
History 

The Model United Nations (MUN) program offers students numerous opportunities for academic growth, leadership, and global awareness. Recognizing the value of this program, the American School Foundation of Monterrey (ASFM) has committed to supporting its development and success.

A quick timeline Of Where it all started...

1995

ASFMMUN begins hosting MUN simulations for high school.

1998

ASFM students begin participating formally in MUN as an extracurricular activity.

1999

As interest rises, MUN expands to ASFM middle school students as well.

2002

- Simulation held for MSHS

- 600+ international
delegates attend

- UN Ambassador
Dr. Zidan Ze

2003

- ASFM introduces the Secretariat class for students (13-18)

-  IMMUNS gets its name

- Jane Goodall is

the guest speaker

2013

- IMMUNS continues to grow and succeed

- Pedro Ferriz de Con is the guest speaker 

2020

The COVID-19 pandemic hits and IMMUNS is not hosted online.

Today

IMMUNS is ready and excited for the upcoming year making sure it's the best one yet!
